April Workshops: Propagating Perennials and Neighborhood Composting Programs

April 13 – 6:30 to 7:30 PM – Propogating Perennials – We’ll spend an hour talking through how to reproduce common perennials like currants, gooseberries, rhubarb, mint, and more using little more than a pair of scissor, some potting soil and a pot. This activity isn’t for everyone, but if you like the sound of having dozens of plants at your disposal to fill a bed, gorilla garden in Midtown, or stock a new public garden, this could be a very fruitful conversation. We’re happy to provide cuttings and equipment to get you started. Stay tuned.

April 27 – 6:30 to 7:15 PMNeighborhood Composting Programs – Join us for a 45 minute conversation about local composting programs – old ones, new ones, and ideas for designing something in your neighborhood.
